Hunting Journal / G-Norm, issue 141

February/March 2014 EHJ (Issue 141) - I know what some of you might be thinking, "Isn’t this the same woman that just killed a giant desert ram in 2012 and now she’s holding a giant muley in ‘13?!” Some people have all the luck, I know, but it’s really not my fault! I enjoy hunting and I’ve killed some really nice animals over the years. However, I don’t spend a lot of extra time thinking about it or really planning for it. Let’s be real – I’m a busy mother of five, and three are teens. I don’t have a lot of extra time for anything.

My husband on the other hand, loves hunting. That would be an understatement. At the same time, he’s very aware of me and the children. Family comes first but he really puts a lot of time in to make our hunting fun and successful.

When he’s constantly gone in the fall I frequently get asked, "Isn’t Adam done hunting yet?”

My response is always the same, "Does it ever really end?”
