What yardage do you set your sight pins for? I am planning a wilderness mule deer hunt in New Mexico and wanted your opinion on hunting in the mountains or desert.

Pretty open country down there so I would probably run my pins at 20-30-40-50 and 60 yards. This is what mine are at and it has always worked. If I were you I would make sure I was very confident out to 50 yards. It can be difficult to close in on those big boys in open country, but if you can keep your arrows in a pop can size spot every time out to 50, you should do well.
