I backtracked and headed up to where I thought would be the best position. Just before I got to the top I drew my bow and made my way over the ridge and looked for the big ram who was somewhere in the middle. As I came over the top a young banana-horn spotted me. His eyes looked like pie plates and he instantly jumped up and bolted. This caused all the rams to jump up and run. As they were running I spotted the big one and then all of a sudden he stopped. He was broadside and I guessed him at 30 yards, put my 30-yard pin on him and released.
