first lite chama top

I plan on ordering a chama top from first lite, I"m right on the border between L and XL. Any input???

I have a Llano top. I am 5'11 170 and the large fits perfect. I would say that they run true to size even after washing (I didn't notice any shrinkage at all). I could have probably squeezed into a medium, but I like to have a little extra length at the torso to tuck in.

Never used Mereno for base layer. Should they be loose, or more fitted?

They're true-to-size. I think it's really up to you with regards to having it loose (XL) or a little more snug (L). I prefer base layers to be fitted but not really "tight".
