Has anybody used a pack with the dry earth camo, (cordura), i can get a blue widow in it at a good price but am worried about it being way to noisy, maybe its nothing to worry about, any thoughts on it?

Unless something has changed Dry Earth is not camo. I have an X2 in dry earth and it is a solid off gray color. Yes it is noisier than my Eberlestock in MO Brush.

Nope I have it for work. Very durable but I bought the saddle cloth or whatever it is pack for hunting. Imagine wearing a walmart kids backpack through the brush, maybe not that bad but not quiet by any means. It is a great pack and I bought another X2 for hunting but I sold it to get the J107. If there isn't a lot of brush where you hunt you may be fine but with the amount of bug kill snags that have spider-webbed the area I hunt it would be worth the extra $ to get the softer material.
