Up at 445am. Ran to town for munchies and fuel, hiking by 610. After a long hard day of pushing through the snow, buck down at 420pm. We hiked our butts off but were well rewarded when Ethyn made a great 284 yrd shot on this deer. His left eye was gouged out and left ear badly torn on the back side from a fight i guess. Everything that could have gone wrong during the morning did. We didnt give up though and got to expierence a sunset that will not soon be forgotten.
