Was out for a quick scout by Mt Rose on Fri and put a frigging rock through my front differential! Of corse it's aluminum and broke the hell out of it! I hauled ass off the hill to get to the main road so if I needed a tow it would be a little cheaper. After I inspected the damage I realized the fluid that was pouring out of it was gear oil, ( I first thought it was the oil pan) I called my tranny guy and was able to drive it to the shop without harming anything. $1000 scoutting trip! Damit! And it's not even my deer tag.

2000 chevy. Bone stock. It's my work truck with a service bed. Ya not what I should be in the hills with but I had a hr or so to kill in-between jobs.
