Well... I'm always watching the deer and elk but never expected to see this guy. Not the best pics, I was in a bit of a rush to get the camera and take some pictures before he disappeared. The one pictures show a circle with nothing and then the next he is in the circle. Don't worry. I already have someone after him as I write this:)

To get em, what camera setup are you using? I hope in a few hours we see close up photos of him. Maybe one with someones arm holding him up.

Just a normal camera through the spotter. I wish I had more time to get better quality pics.

I wonder how long it's going to be before we get them in Colorado? I hope the DOW is smart enough to put them in season right away.

Hope to see it up close and personal. I would have went for my gun and went for the camera after you let the air out of him. Cool pics. Good luck!

It was brutal trust me.. I was at home watching the little ones. Nothing I could do. I'm out of here in 45 mins though, doubt it will come together but who knows.

I figured there were reasons why you didn't gab your gun and head out as soon as you spotted him. Good luck man I really hope you get him.

No... I wish. I stayed at the base of the snow line, knowing it would be too crunchy, and tried calling. A few rabbit series then the howl. But I don't know enough about them yet, it's like learning to hunt all over again. It was 4 hours from when I saw him to when I was at the base of the snow line where his tracks were. And though it would have made sense for him to bed in that area, as it was 10am ish, I'm just not sure if that's what they do. He may have been on the move for still some time. I did manage to get this shot of the valley looking back towards the house. i do enjoy living here :)
