I have 4 non Res points and I'm looking for a trophy quality area that I can hunt DIY. How are the buck numbers in these areas? Do these areas have good trophies in the 80"+? Any info would be great thanx! Hope to hang one on the wall from Wy this year.

67 is suppose to be good, I think #'s may be down though, IMO it's a better unit than 114.

Also with 4pts and applying as a special tag you could probably hunt an Awesome unit... ie one of the best in the state... but 67 is good.

I would defiantly apply for the special tag.

Not to change the topic but, when do the draw results come out?

I believe last year was June 16th.... Not that I'm overly impatient and watching the callender or anything...

Ya I hear ya. It's all I've been thinking about lately! If I draw it will be my first Wy big game hunt.

Well good luck and I hope it happens for you. I'll be going to WY for the first time this year, my buddy hunts on some privite land every year and draws doe tags for meat. And I think he was sayin every few years he'll draw a buck tag.I think you have a good shot especily with the special permit:cool:
