I am going to purchase a new bow sight that has an option for $20 more that gives me 3rd axis adjusment. Is 3rd axis adjustment worth the extra $20 or should I just forget it?

It really depends on what sight. I know the CBE TEK Hunter has the option to purchase the extra for 3rd axis. To be honest with you I have had this same sight on 4 different bows and have yet to have to add the 3rd axis adjustment. They all have been on the money when I set them up with not adding them. So it does really depend on what sight.

Thanks I think the little extra money will be worth the extra confidence with a big muley in my sight next year.

The direct answer is YES! You want 3rd axis if you are serious about being sighted in properly. 3rd axis makes a huge difference when you are shooting yardage at steep angles. Hamskea archery makes an awesome 3rd axis leveler you should look into...
