I have put in for Colorado unit 75/751 3rd season for mule deer rifle hunt. Any information on these units would be helpfull. I am planning on doing a backpack hunt for the full 8 days of the season. I am wondering about the quality and quantity of bucks as well what elevation they might be at the first week of november. Any information would be helpfull.

You are in their staging period/Pre rut about then... They will have left the high country and be in the oakbrush/timbered areas in almost every unit that has high country nearby... There is a TON of private property down low... There are good bucks but they will be tough to find as it is tougher to glass them up... Been in the country that time of the year but never hunted it then... I usually see 130 to 150 type bucks...

+1 on Graylight's reply. I hunted 75/751 3rd season last year. There are some great bucks there, but they stage mostly on reservation and private land in the southern portion of the unit. That said, I still saw a few bucks making there way out of the highcountry. The biggest bucks I saw were rutting on the Ute Reservation and plenty move into New Mexico's famous 2B by December. There are still some in the National Forest transition areas, but like Marlon said it is tough glassing. If you draw let me know and I will PM you some more specific info.
