Fewest points you have heard of for sheep?

I have heard of people drawing with no points, but recently I heard of a guy drawing with 12.

My Dad has 10 sheep and 12 moose. I have 2 each. Got a late start as I was overseas, and not thinking about it.

Wyoming I has 20% of the tags for moose and sheep go to random draw and 80% go to the people with the highest amount of points, at least that is the way is is for residents. I believe it is the same for non-residents. Since there are not many sheep/moose tags the chances of drawing a random draw tag is pretty slim, but my dad drew an area 1 moose in 2004 with only 7 points but he was just one of the really lucky few.

I'd like to see them knock down non-resident sheep and moose to 20 tags total per species and 2 goat tags.

Actually I don't think they give many more tags out to non-residents so it wouldn't really help the resident draw odds that much.

It doesn't matter if you have 0 or 10 points... both parties have the same drawing odds in the random pool.

That I did not know. I thought that reverse was true. So until you have max points you don't have any better odds than the guy that got into this year.
