How big is he? Looks like a great one.
He was right around 300 pounds and 6' 2" from nose to tail. I need to pick up the skull today to score it.

Thanks guys! He was bigger than I first thought. Just scored him and he will go 20 1/2 at least. Bears are funny....the one I killed last spring was a much larger animal and was only 19 3/4.

They are kinda funny. They are alot like people. My friend is about 6 inches shorter than me and he has alot fatter head than I do. :D Sorry, I couldn't resist!

how far away was the pic you took on paws?

I spotted him from 157 yards but since I had the wind perfect and he was busy grazing I slipped into 65 yards for the pic and shot. Wish I'd had my good camera! All I had was my point and shoot and the flash kept going off so I decided I had better just kill him.
