2 out of 3 tags. Rifle mule deer in 45 and archery elk in unit 50. Still trying to draw that ever elusive bighorn sheep tag. I guess I'll start looking for that tag in other states

Went 0 for 5 again this year! So much for better chances for residents to draw! OTC archery elk in CO on the menu I guess!

Unit 17 for Elk and 45 for deer. The boy got also got a 45 Elk tag, all muzzleloader, pretty stoked!!! Does anyone have any info they can share on unit 17 for elk??? Thanks

No luck with elk but drew a rifle mule deer rut tag in 37. Going to Idaho/Oregon for elk I guess.

How many years have you been putting in for that tag? I'm up to 10 now trying to draw a rocky mountain tag

Unsuccessful for my archery elk tag in 45. More draws to come though! I am still optimistic.

It varies in NM... although there's no points in NM so whether 20 years or your first year we both have the same odds... just thought/wanted this to be the year! ha.

I've been applying in most western states for 5-7years.

Although had I drawn a NM sheep tag I probably would have had to turn back in my MT elk tag, so MT elk isn't a bad back up plan ;)

maybe next year sheep...

My wife and I went 0 for 9 in New Mexico again this year. It has been a looooonnnng time since we drew New Mexico. Can't wait for the Utah draw.

16a archery elk, already drew a Wyoming archery elk in the Bighorns.....busy September. Wife drew first choice muzzleloader elk and oryx. Son drew his deer tag, daughter 0 fer.

Didn't get an elk or oryx tag this year but I got a sweet November 2B rifle deer tag!!! One good thing about not drawing the other two tags is that it will give me more time to scout and focus on killing a great trophy mule deer in 2B!
