im hunting deer region h in wy. and thinking about buying otc tags for both cat and bear just in case i see them. do you think this is a waist of money?

Lion would probably be a waste. Most lions are killed with dogs. You could stumble across a bear though. Good luck on your elk hunt.

I would have to agree with the above....... while out hunting I have only stumbled across bear, never a cat

I've stumbled across both, I wouldn't buy either though just so I can stumble across them. Good ol Murphy and his silly laws.

I would go with at least the bear. The chances are much better

I live in Maryland and have personally seen a lion. it's been awhile but I have herd of sightings recently. So I believe that they are making there way east

I believe it. I have two friends in Iowa that have seen lions. One saw a big Tom dead on side of road. Neither knew there were lions there. This was about 3 yrs ago.
