One of my rancher clients in the Gila (NM) sent me this picture from his game camera at one of his drinkers and asked if I knew what it was. There isn't an exotic game ranch anywhere close to his place. Nearest I could come up with is a Persian Ibex (they were released by Game and Fish in NM down on the border years ago), but I've never heard of them anywhere close to that far north. Sorry, the picture is kind of granular as I had to zoom in a little.

Ah the mystic flight of the arrow.... Now that I look at it it does look like a hawk or something like that on a up wing beat when you blow it up. It doesnt make sense cause if you look hard enough you can see the trunk of a tree right where you think the head is, and what looks like ears I believe is the tail. Just my take

I think Justin got it. After looking at it again, I would say it's a large bird in flight too.

Well....if you ask the Sasquatch hunter guys, I am sure they would be leaning toward a confirmed squatch sighting there.....haha.

However, I do agree a bird, due to the un obstructed view of the tree in the back ground where as a large animal would have blocked that view.

Those 3 are definitely all Ibex! I hope I have that Ibex problem this fall.

Is that bull elk in that picture missing half of his hind leg? Or is that just a blimp in the picture?

I think he was scratching or swatting the bugs and the cam caught him at full speed.
