90 gr. Accubond went through 4 jugs and out, hit next row over and cut that jug and was found as shown.

Accubond, E-tip, and Partition all from a 6mm Remington at 400 yards for comparison.

30-06 and 165 gr. Accubond. Sort of a torture test as I hit a couple inches lower than I wanted and took out the particle board, and it went into jugs and still took out four of them.

The 165 out of my 30-06 at 400 is the top bullet. The lower one is from my son's 300 WSM at 500 yards! I drilled the jugs perfectly and it went through 5 and stopped at 6 like this.

I had enough left to try a 6mm 100 gr. Partition at 500 and an E-tip at 500 out of my son's 6mm. I hit each row of jugs perfectly but darned if I could find the bullets. They slipped out after going through 4 or 5 and I even had plastic on the ground behind but could not locate them. Maybe they are still going? :)

Better put the bullet pictures in. Pretty good performance I would say.

Great tests and thanks for sharing all of this info, btw, how much milk do you drink?

I'd be drinking a lot of milk to get that many jugs! I use water and these only cost 89 cents each so it's pretty reasonable to purchase them. That's 89 cents per gallon of water at Safeway. Once I catch an e-tip, a Partition, and another Accubond at 500 then I will be done. It's fun, cheap, and I'm getting some really good practice in as well as seeing how these Noslers perform at different ranges. Try it with some other bullets and we can do some comparisons as Nosler are all I shoot.

Hey 6mm them are some sweet groups for 400 and 500 yards. Just curious, how tight are they at 100.

Bigshot, the 30-06 will shoot 1/2" at 100 if I do my part as will the 6mm with 100 gr. Partitions. The Accubond load is one I just put together to test it in water and haven't actually played with it much. It shot a 13/16" group at 100. I was going to try and tweak it, but I figured it was okay to test in the jugs and hoped it did okay. I was surprised by how well it did at 400. The conditions got tougher the later it got, but my group at 500 was not nearly as good. It was probably in the neighborhood of 7 inches.

Once again an excellent and informative post! Thank you for sharing. If I may ask, what powder are you loading in the .300 WSM ?

Bob I'm using H4831SC with Federal 215 Match primers. It shoots about 3/4 at 100 yards but is only at 2800 fps. I was looking for a bit more so I'm going to play with some other powders. It sure worked on my son's elk though last year.

Great results, and great shooting. Thanks for sharing. Gotta love those accubonds, the few I have recovered from game look and weigh very similar. I guess I'm to much of a magnification nut, I like 14-18x on the top end for long range shooting. It seems to me like to much of the target gets covered otherwise when shooting long at yotes. Sure doesn't look like the 4 and 6x hurt your accuracy any though, critters beware!

Hey 6mm them are some sweet groups for 400 and 500 yards. Just curious, how tight are they at 100. The shot on the right dot is after scope adjustment. I sight them in for 2 3/4" high at 100 yards.

The right target on the 6mm is the same 100 gr. Partition with a different powder. Both about the same fps and hit almost exactly to same POI. Lucky on that, not sure, but I'll take it.
