tag exchange/return question

So I drew a limited entry archery elk tag with my 2nd choice that now I am unable to go on but I would like to exchange it for an over the counter rifle tag can I do this what are my options??

Interesting question. They might make you return the original tag, before you can buy the OTC tag, but i'm guessing. I'd give the DOW a call on Monday.

Even if they will exchange. They'll want the tag you have in their hand before doing a swap.

Yeah they will. You just have to get the exchange done before the start of bow season.
