Get out there and vote people!! Wyoming gets to vote on a bill today that gaurantees the right to hunt trap and fish forever. If passed this law will go into the the state constitution. About 8 states have this and wyo thought they had better act on it as well. Great job WYO!!

It Passed! Nice job Wyoming... at least one state (excluding Jackson) has its head on straight. "I'll never need the government to hold my hand... cause a country boy is all I'll ever be." Aaron Lewis

Thank goodness... It would have sucked to get my $300 in traps in the mail today to only be able to use them as decoration.

Amendment - B - Fish/Hunt/Trap Preservation - Ballot Issue

Wyoming - 481 of 481 Precincts Reporting - 100%

Votes Vote %
Yes 211,526 89%

I think those 25,521 people should find another state to live in. Might I reccomend Hawaii.

Holy crap. I would be more than happy to individually help each of those 25,000 people pack and move.

I have some in California to move out too jenbickel. It would be awesome to get secure hunting rights for the state here in CA and every state in the USA for that matter. I hope you have a big moving truck. We have language in our state constitution guaranteeing the right to fish, but not to hunt. Congratulations Wyoming!

States like Wyoming need to get all these types of bills passed before the Jackson infection spreads and the environazis outnumber the outdoorsmen. Look at Colorado, doubt they could get something like this passed now, the scales have tipped there.

I agree with EBOLAVIRS. Idaho passed a similar bill last week. 453,000 yes vs 164,000 no. I think about 13 states have passed ammendments like this one. Best to do this now, than risk it in a state where the antis are growing. The opposition was from a Sun Valley group against trapping and others. Idaho like WY has their stuff together on this.
