What is everyone's take on bear hunting during a full moon? Difference in spring vs. fall? I know each full moon is different but just not sure how bears handle it.

Thanks.

i dont personaly think the moon will affect bears that much during spring, being spring they will be working there arses off foraging for grub

Thanks.... Yeah I called the biologist and you are correct. Especially in the fall. I guess it's called hyperpheshia (didn't look up spelling). The bears are on their feet 20-23 hrs a day during the late fall. They have to consume 20,000 calories a day.

It was very interesting to me. That amount of calories on a low calorie diet. Not like they can swing into Mc'y D's :)
