View Full Version : Things guys over six feet hate....

I am 6'2" tall. I really hate shower doors. You know they are there. You duck to miss them on purpose, yet your cranial cap draws to them like a damn magnet. You try to act rational and show restraint knowing young ears are only 1/2" of sheet rock away. Everyone listens when dad yells. You know this too. It always leads to a weird tropical dance routine. Trying to hold it back through gritted teeth and rapid panting while bobbing up and down naked around the bathroom. Rocking from side to side while applying pressure hoping brain matter survived and offering a redneck prayer. ( this is the heavy mix if rather prayerful terms mixed with shoot cussing and a few ranch explainitives )

I have also figured out shower door frames are related to the door frames of Robinson R-22 helicopters. 6'2" guys are amusing to watch try to enter the cockpit. Folding up like a weblewobble with legs imitating a smurf. Then somehow still cram your head right into the dang door you set yourself up to try and miss.

Maybe my heads gotten too big.
End random rant for the night.

One of the positives of being 5'6, is that you don't whack you melon on much. Also, your buddies clear out all the spiderwebs in the woods.

And here I wished I was 6'3" during my small school college basketball career. Sounds like I need to be more grateful for being 5'10", even though I too am bald with scars from big men elbows!!!

I'm 6'2. This year I was at a girls house and completely clothes lined myself on the ceiling right above where you go downstairs. It was really bad. haha

I'm only 5'10", but my dad is about 6'1" and used to always joke that the only reason he got invited to deer and elk camp with his father and brother in-law was because he could reach all of the cooking supplies on the top cabinets of the camper that they couldn't reach (both are/were about 5'5"). I never really minded being a little shorter than some because I played baseball when I was growing up and all through college and being a catcher and having to fold up behind the plate all the time make you appreciate not having to squat down as far!

One of the funniest things I think I have ever seen was when my dad was walking through my grandparent's house and would walk "under" a fan. When I say under, I mean he missed the blades, but always hit his head on the lights hanging down from it. It took several tries before he remembered it was there and now walks around it usually.

It is not a coincidence that plumbers are 5'-5" and drywall guys are 6'-5". My buddy always laughs his ass off when I spend all day moving the ladder around to put screws in the ceiling, and he could walk around and have it done in 2 minutes.

Dont think I will have to worry about hitting my head on anything. I can say my brother who is over 6ft falls pretty darn hard!!

Drinking milk from the bottle and getting it blasted by the ceiling fan. Messy.
