Colorado Parks & Wildlife has posted the leftover tags. They officially go on sale Aug 6.

I was going to get a 4th season cow tag, but none left in the unit I want.:(

Thanks for the info. I'll start window shopping.

Sweet. Looks like I can get a cow tag for muzzleloader season in my unit.

Is it possible to get through on the 800 number on 8/6? Or, are you better off going someplace that sells licenses?

I would get to someplace that sells them and do it right at 9:00 AM.

I would get there a bit before 9 if the tag you want is in high demand. Often times there is a big crowd waiting by the time licenses go on sale.

I usually go to the local state park office. Small and usually never anyone there, better than WallWorld of one of the bigger gunshops.

I used to wait at the DOW office in Fort Collins. Not cool!

Fly fishing shops. Nobody thinks to go there. Not in my town anyway.

just got my leftover cow tag (EFØ44O1M). There was no wait whatsoever using the 800 number.
