I love to read anything by CJ Box (WY native) and his series about Joe Pickett are one of the best things to read in the field, tent, bathroom, deer stand, weddings, etc...

For those that have not read this series, Joe is a fictional WY Game Warden that gets into a lot of mischief that is not always related to wildlife. CJ Box does a fantastic job of detailing the environment, hint...one of the fictional Sheriffs is Barnum, sound familiar to those that hunt deer region Y???

Anyone else have any good reads? Besides EHJ/EBJ of course?

Great books. I have read all the Picket books and every other book written by Box. I like his style and they go real fast. I just finished reading the Longmire series by Craig Johnson. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, the first book took a little to get into. But once I got started, soon enough I was done with all 10 books. Other series I have enjoyed is the Mitch Rapp series by Vince Flynn, the Jack Reacher Series by Lee Child, and am currently reading the most recent Scot Harvath series book by Brad Thor.

I too have read all the Joe Pickett books and will read the new one as soon as I get it...on order. I would love to see a TV series like Longmire based on the Pickett books. I have read all the Reacher and Longmire books too. The Longmire TV series is pretty good too.

I discovered the Longmire series on Netflix a couple months ago, I really want to get those books now!
