Elk and muleys for me...I had the opportunity to be in an issue but poor 35 MM camera photos ruined that..Lesson learned. I'll get in next time. lol.

Mule Deer is my favorite, with Elk a close 2nd! Though I have to say the July/August is the greatest ever though, simply because it means that bow season is upon us!

Enjoy them all, but of late I'm in sheep mode these days so I really enjoy that issue. That being said I have a special place for the elk issue.

I would vote for the 100% DIY issue. All are great, but I am not a big fan of just focusing on one species per issue.

right on, full draw, i die of anticipation for about two weeks before the next one comes in, especially in the winter when i'm not outdoors.
