I got this in Easter Wyoming. I was surprised to see him as I had been hunting a different non-typical that I had spotted earlier in the year.

Great buck. My dad would hurt himself if he got an oportunity at a buck like that.

Congrats, I missed a non-typical with the muzzleloader here in Idaho in 2009...........he was about 15" tall typical on his left side and very similar to yours on the right. Tried my best for 4 days and lost track of him. Ended up taking the one in my avatar, 15" typical......very pleased with him but could not get the other one off my mind. Last fall 2010 I'm pretty sue I found the non-typical in his teritorry, but he was symetrical on both sides this time, Tried to stalk him with the bow several times.....maybe this year!

One of these years I hope to get a non-typ. They seem to dissappear during the season around here.

Congrats. When we went to Wyoming I was really after a non typical. I was debating on one for 3 days I named crooked horn. He was a little small. The day I shot mine we were headed back to camp. There was a nice one that went straight forward on both sides and had a nice curl up. He was a little small but very cool. He was wasn't quite to his nose but this year I bet he is nice. I would have taken him if my tag wasn't filled!

What's everyones opinoin on non-typical goats? Do some of them grow that way every year, and some bump their horns during growth and go back to typical the next year? This is what I've always thought, but I may be wrong.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I definitely earned him because he the stalk seemed like it took forever and I found a LOT of cactus one day I forgot my gloves. @Pronghorn73 - I have heard they grow that way every year, similar to a deer. But I don't know either.
