Yes, well pretty much. There is like a burgess junction visitors center or whatever and then you go like a mile down the highway past that and it's right there.

All you boys better get your info straight before you head west! As a local I see alot of out or state plates kicking up plenty of dust. Access in 38 is very good and there are a TON of elk in it. Area 38 does NOT have a single acre of wilderness area in it. It does have plenty of high country and lots of the deep and nasty. Strap on a pair of boots, grab your pack, and get off the beaten path. There is a reason WGF treats this area like a gift horse. Lots of elk, lots of country, and not near enough tags! Good luck
That's why I said correct me if I am wrong. I've only hunted areas 38 and 37 and since I am a Wyoming resident, I don't have to worry about wilderness area. I was just checking for his sake.
