hahahahahahaha
No wolf hunting in Wyoming in the near future. The deal between Gov. Mead & USFW is far from done.
"shoot & shovel" may be for some folks, but not for me. Can you imagine what they'd do to you if you
were caught? I enjoy my hunting too much to risk something like that. I think I'll play by the rules!
If you get caught, I don't think you would want the consequences! A few years ago an out of state hunter here in SW Colorado shot a Lynx and there was hell to pay. Yeah I know not the same as the wolf situation, but he was still dealing with the feds in addition to the state.Took his ATV, gun and fined him $35,000. (if I remember right) and the state took his hunting license for 5 years. I'm just betting that the Feds are licking their chops to catch someone to make an example out of for the anti's.
Not to name names or anything. But I talked to a Wyoming G AND F warden last year and he basically told our party to shoot and not say a thing if we come across a wolf. Not many people in this state want them either. I don't think much effert would go into dealing with a shot wolf.
Wolves are not considered animals anyway. More an invasive species that needs eradicated. It wont be too long before our state requires a wolf-free sticker for our atv's like they do for muscles and our boats.!! LOL.
