Found this deer last year and took pics of him earlier this season and want to know what the score experts think? I think next year will be the year to get him as he put on nearly 30 inches of bone from last year.

lets just say i wouldn't pass that deer if i seen him this year. Great buck, deep forks, kickers, and easily over 24 inches wide!!! You've got some will power, and alot of confidence in your area, for someone else not to harvest him given the chance, unless its private property. Cool pics, thanks for sharing!
He's real nice. I would put him up there in the mid 170's or close to 180. I could be wrong because I'm used to field judging and scoring blacktails which are smaller, but he looks like a fairly high scoring buck. The only thing he is lacking besides width which doesn't mean much is that his main beams may be a little short. If he has in fact put on 30" since the photo was taken, he is certainly over 200" now.
There's no way that he only scores 170 or 180! He scores at least 190+ if not nearing the 200 inch mark! Fantastic buck!
I would put him near 185 gross.
However, that trash around the bases can add up if it is scoreable and bump him up towards 190.
Not sure on score but what an awesome buck!! And to get pictures is even more cool. Hopefully you can find him and get him this year!
Might be a stupid question but is he a blacktail or muley? I can never tell and that would make a huge difference on scoring.
He is a mule deer. I think he will break the 200" mark. The pics don't do him a lot of justice.
If he were a blacktail he would beat the world record killed in 1953.
I would have to put him around 190 in the pic. If he has put on 30", that deer needs to go down!
