I am going on a wolf hunt later this year and I need a rifle. I already have a .243 I could use but I'm thinking about buying a .22-250. A .223 is an option also. Which would you go with?

I like the .243 out of your choices.
Good luck gettin' one of 'em!
.243 would work great but if you want a new rifle get one of each.
.243 no question.
.243. No debate. If you must purchase a new rifle I would go with a .220 swift over a 22-250 only if you reload though.
I would go with the .243 for wolves. The 22-250 would work also but if it was me I would lean towards the heavier caliber for more knock down power.
The 243 is the best choice of those listed. I have rolled 2 coyotes with my car 223 that then got up and ran off. I watched and followed both as far as was possible and neither slowed down. I do not have this problem with my 22-250 or 243 on coyotes. Wolves are larger and tougher and would recommend even a 270.
22-250 way fast and no wolf will get away.
Take a .223... that way if you shoot one wolf and happen to lose it, you can go after another one!
Actually, I really like the .223. Really fun gun to shoot and reload for. I picked up this Weatherby Vanguard last year and did some work to make it a real tack driver.

Like everyone else, of the lot I'd say .223. I wouldn't hesitate to go with something bigger either like a .25-06.
