Hoyt tech help
I just purchased a used carbon element with a 29" draw length. I am more like a 27.5". I bought the bow for 700$ it is four months old.
My ? Is do i need to buy new cams or just modules. I am planning on taking it to the Hoyt dealer when I get a chance but I wanted to get feelers on what you guys think and I don't want to spend money I don't have to.
Thanks in advance.

You'll need new cams. Your bow should have #3 cams and you'll need #2 to get to 27.5. Also you'll need a new set of strings. Here's Hoyts tune chart.

Thank you. I think I am going to try the 28" setup. Ally cheaper! 15$ compared to 300+$ I love the bow. It is light as heck!
Any recomendations on a fall away rest? I am using all other components off of my old bow except rest.

I have a Fuse QAD on mine. The Ripcord Code Red is another good choice!

So I put the 28" modules on and it and had to go to a shorter release. I ended up going with a spot hogg wiseguy. I also went with a trophy taker revolution rest. I like it so far. Bow is super quiet. I am extremely happy. Can't wait until I
Draw a tag. I am going to Oregon next year on an OTC archery elk. Can't wait.
