WOW!! Beautiful mounts! Who does your taxidermy? It looks amazing!!
It's a CA hybrid (cross) most likely. Here's a Blacktail (Hybrid) I arrowed a few ago in CA........they sure look different in the facial structure don't they?Quote:
Hey bohntr, is that far left a blacktail?

That's a nice Cali buck! I have taken a few dandy's here in Cali as well. I'll try and post them on here. I hunt mostly Zone D-14 and just started hunting deer and elk out of state. I got the fever bad!!!
Here's my biggest archery buck which i killed last year... hoping to get a bigger one this year :) cant wait! Hopefully i have a wall like you guys in the next 10+ years...

Bohuntr...If you get any deer with longer mainbeams, you might have to trim your ceiling fan blades! NICE deer!!
BOHNTR,
I second 264Magnum's comment! That is my dream-wall. Very impressive...all public land and all archery...I'm still in aaaaaahhhhhh!! My "bachelor herd" is much smaller, but I can also say that mine is purely public land DIY (The Eastman Way).
Thanks guys.....but really, that wall represents many years of bowhunting in several states, coupled a lot of LUCK. Several of those were taken on the Kaibab during a time when the archery hunt was over-the-counter and was a premier hunt for DIY type guys like us. Nothing against those who primarily hunt with guides, but I prefer to do it on my own if possible.
