I bought a 300 ultrs mag...for spring bear hunting...love it for elk so far..two bulls with it...two bears...a few antelope..and mule deer...great gun...wife has shot two deer with it...
I was looking at 7 mags and got talked into this for the variable power level ammo...wife can shoot her light recoil stuff and me my high power long range...don't have to re-sight...
