What is the best state that I could be hunting elk in with a bow next year?
I am thinking the same thing and I am going to go to Colorado. Got some people to help me so know where I am going. I would say CO
Colorado sucks for elk hunting! Go to another state. How about Nevada?

You can buy a preference point in wyoming starting in july. some states have opportunities for zero preference units but there is a reason why these tags are available. You certainly will have more chance with archery than muzzleloader or rifle. Just have to do some homework.
