Do you use a stabilizer?

I have a ten inch stab on my Elite z28. It realy helps keep me steady on my 50 and 60 yard shots.
Negative. No stabilizer for me i feel my bow is just fine without. And it saves a lil weight when your packin all day
I shoot a Hoyt Trykon xl and have the smallest Limbsaver stabilizer on it. It doesn't really need it. The bows pretty well balanced in my hand, but, being primarily a midwest treestand hunter, I like it that the stabilizer shifts the center of gravity forward so the bow cants down slightly. Personal preference I suppose, and if I wasn't hunting out of a tree, it probably wouldn't be on my bow.
I did some experimenting with different weight on a stabilizer. More weight equals a steadier shot... to a certain point obviously. I shoot a 10 inch stab and it really helps with long distance shooting.
I use a stabilizer mostly for eliminating noise. My mathews is quiet, but with the stabilizer it is quieter.
I shoot with a 8.5" carbon blade on both my bows. Helps and the slim design helps in the wind.
