Lucky!! Do you think you'll be able to shoot one in velvet?? With CO opening early this year, i'm hoping i get a chance at a velvet bull.

DR - Leupold camera's great. The feature for setting up the camera right are perfect. The pictures are clear. I did have a little issue with the sensors with animals coming in direct at the camera, but a quick setting change fixed that.

Bulls in velvet, don't think so. Season is opening a few days earlier but not enough to shoot a velvet bull, at least in my area. Never know though. Its just good to see that they are there from last year and still moving in and out of this drainage.

I'm applying a completely unorthodox hunting style to elk this year kindof as a science project.
