Has Badlands got their zipper problems worked out?
I have a badlands super day pack that I have had a couple years now and I have always loved it. I can shove a lot of crap in there and it is super comfortable. I have packed out quite a bit of meat in it and I have packed out quite a few horns on it. ( i had 47 deer horns on it once!) Never had any problems. I like I because it I super adjustable which is nice for me since I'm little but need something that I can haul a lot of stuff in but not feel like I'm back heavy. Lol
This year I am going to be trying out crooked horn packs and hope they work as well!
Thanks Jen. I'm not a very big either stretching the tape to a whopping 5'7"!!!
I would take a look at the Mystery Ranch Nice frame with Longbow bag on it. Link: http://www.mysteryranch.com/hunting/...e-longbow-pack
This would give you the option of switching to a Crew Cab bag or a 6500 if you wanted to do some more serious hauling or extended hunts. I have my Crew Cab loaded with 95lbs right now getting ready for hunting season, and it rides batter than any other pack I have used (Army ALICE, MOLLE, Eberlestock J107).
X2 is great day pack. Can fit whatever you want on it or in it. Its just short for a longer torso guy-Longer than 18.
