My wife of over 50 years lost her gallant struggle to survive oct 12 at he Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Mn. We had an exciting, adventurous life through the healthy years. She was a good shooter, especially with a handgun, having shot at least one 300 score. She wanted me to go on the september bear hunt but her condition was too weak for me to do that. I still have the mule deer tag but not the enthusiasm of before, still, I think I will get into the mountains just as she would want me to do. I appricate the dedication and participation of a lifetime of exploring. RIP Betty

So sorry for your loss. You got to spend over 50 years with her, that is certainly a blessing in itself. You should go spend a little bit of time in the mountains.

Xtreme, I'm very sorry for your loss....I hope my marriage last half of what yours did.

Xtreme, Imagine all the wonderful memories that you two made over 50 years of marriage. I've no doubt that Betty was a fine person. I pray that your times in the mountains will be filled with those memories of her.
Your'e in my prayers and thoughts.

Xtreme, sorry for your loss. Enjoy all the things she would have wanted you to do. The mountains are one of the most peaceful places on earth. The remote country is just like God created, unchanged & perfect. My thoughts & prayers are with you.

Sir,
Hebrews has this to say 11:5
By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.
The Russian Orthodox say "Eternal Memory", and I truly wish you that.
