Anyone else surprised that gas powered atv companies haven't came out with an ultra quiet utility style atv even after electric bad boy buggies have been out for over a decade who's entire premise is that they're ultra quiet? and scent free but at least gas atv companies could develop a super quiet utility quad version?
Due to the design of internal combustion engines, the high-pressure created in the combustion chamber slams a piston against the crankshaft. Not sure what they could do to make them much quieter.

One of my neighbors bought one of the "quiet" mufflers for his atv. IMHO was a waste of $$$$. Didn't make much difference, a little but not enough for me to change.

I'm sure they could engineer them to be at least as quiet as a honda civic etc...
how about a rotary engine instead of that piston you speak of...?
a 2nd muffler/silencer I know they sell, but would be nice to just have it quiet from the factory...
maybe I do need an electric golf kart... or just a jeep etc...
