I don't know the area the buck was taken in and I'm not familiar with the area either but I was very surprised of that big of a buck taken there because I've never heard of any bucks taken that far south before

I know the area VERY well....mostly every kid that likes the outdoors growing up here knows the area pretty well...heh its the only good camping spot close. I know there's deer there but never seen a biggie like the one in the pic. Its hard to draw in that area...and really not many people put in for that area either. And, success rate is well low.

These are Sonora bucks you can bet on that!

Yeah, but I don't know if I'm willing to use one of my slots to apply for that area.....I think like 29 people applied for it and 5 got a tag.
