ill second that last cat i sold for 80 a couple years ago and dogs were worth 3, 3 bucks wouldnt pay my diesel gettin the fur to the buyer. I have come to find that my .223 ar is quite the yote gun for now any ways until the goverment takes it away!!!!!!Quote:

For close to medium range I use a 223 with a 50 grain Nosler Ballistic tip goining at about 3200 fps, and for long range I like my 243 with 100 grain Nosler BT soft points. I get them flying at about 3,100 fps
Got my depredation permit coming and really enjoyed talking with the G&F guy. I got 120 days with renewal and I told him about my gear. He said most people that get a permit never get a kill. I plan to hunt until coyotes are gone, he did tell me that dogs do about as much damage as the coyotes. Dogs are a never ending problem, well some are ended. If my permit is in todays mail I will be hunting tonight. Infra red and night vision don't spook them and red light on quickly will give time for a quick shot. Only problem with permit is hunting on my land only.
