New set up on Bushmaster 308

Time to work on reloading. .308's just about got perfect ballistics for a short-legged round. We shot 168gr. Sierra BTHP match 40 years ago, but out of a 30-06 cartridge-had considerably better downrange performance than the .308. out of an M40-A1

That's a really nice setup, Ikeepitcold, but I don't know if I'd want to take it into CA, it's got that evil pistol grip and adjustable stock. By the way, I did my undergrad work at UNR.

Thats 40 rounds more than I have. I'm looking for some unprimed .308 brass, Win. or Rem. I'm all set with powder/primers/bullets.
I haunt the LGS's & Wally-World...no luck yet. That Is a NICE rifle you have there, I have a DPMS LR-308. What brand of scope do you have on the rifle? I can't make it out in the pic.
