Colorado OTC Elk

I've hunted Elk in Montana a couple times but the areas I'm familiar with have been impacted by wolves pretty hard over the last 2-3 years so I'm looking and pulling info together to do a hunt in Colorado. I'm needing some input or recommendations any of you may have on a pack in service. I don't want a guided hunt but would like to get packed in and packed out of an area at a pre-determined date. This would be for a early archery hunt.

So no one has any experience or input on a drop camp or pack in service in Colorado?

I've got a Buddy who hired an outfitter out of Chama, NM to pack him in & out. He hunts near Pagosa Springs, Unit 78 otc archery. I'll ask him who he hired & let you know.

what unit and what season

ill recommend old time outfitters there just north or aspen, real good out fit
