So are the wolves mostly in the northern parts of Idaho or are they scattered all over the state?
One of the latest RMEF magazines had a wolf distribution map included and Idaho was completely covered with wolves.
the state is covered. eastern and northern and central are impacted mostly from what ive seen. ive seen them close to fort hall res and seen them on the arco desert by moore. near montpilier and obviously salmon challis areas. they are here to stay and numbers are naturaly higher than reports state, they cant get an accurate estimate, noway nohow.
Mt Runner, Just where abouts do you hunt in 4. Don't worry, I hunt 6.
Just found ur question ,north of Corde A lane , not sure of spelling.
Calbuck,
Take a look at the hunting regs for elk and the management objectives map included. http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/public/...ules/bgElk.pdf
Those units shown as not meeting objectives will give you a pretty good idea of where the wolves are most concentrated. But as Ivorytip said, they're everywhere and here to stay unfortunately.
All over from what people are saying.
