Now I see what you are saying. I think there are areas in WY that would be great for both but getting tags is prob another story...

Hubba, I don't think you are going to catch Unit 89 for deer anytime soon. Keep in mind that most good draw units have point creep. For one unit I am applying for in Colorado for elk, it takes 5-7 years only to catch up just one point. You can't just look how many points it takes to draw, subtract how many points you have and think that is when you will draw the tag.
For Wyoming Unit 89 deer you can see the points it takes to draw increases by about one point each year:
Special license (2009) 2 points for a 100% draw
Special license (2010) 2.5 points for a 100% draw
Special license (2011) 3.5 points for a 100% draw
Special license (2012) 4.5 points for a 100% draw
Special license (2012) 5.5 points for a 100% draw
Regular license (2009) 3 points for a 100% draw
Regular license (2010) 4 points for a 100% draw
Regular license (2011) 5 points for a 100% draw
Regular license (2012) 5.5 points for a 100% draw
Regular license (2013) 6.5 points for a 100% draw
Ya I kinda thinking it would have some point creep. I think my bro and I pretty much decided we're gonna do region G and work hard and see if we can't knock some bucks over. We're planing on hunting the archery hunt. Any starting points of where we could get packed in 5-10 miles away from the crowds?? I've never been to region G so any help would be good! Still a long time till 2014 so I can do lots of research later I guess ha
