Another point for me this year, tried to get a little greedy with my 2nd choice unit. But I'm going to Utah anyways.

Seems like getting a buck tag as your second choice is coming to an end. I save points trying to draw a great tag then try to get a second choice buck tag for a unit close to home. I didn't draw a second choice the last couple years so I don't even get to Deer hunt. I used to be able to get a buck tag as a leftover, now I can't even get one as a second choice. After I burn my points I'll be re-thinking my strategy so I can hunt Deer every year!

High country muley tag for me, I'll be using the stick and string instead of the smoke pole this year.

I drew a high country tag as well. 8 days of the backcountry with a stick & string can't get here fast enough!

points only for elk and deer, but that's alright. i'll still be there in September with a bow for wilderness OTC elk.
