Very well put. A frontal shot at close distance can be extremely deadly, it's not for everyone but if you have the confidence and the right equipment I will take that shot any day. The area on an...
Should be a great shoot!
The Salt Lake show is happening last minute here. If we do it it will be at the ISE show on March 17th. Should know for sure if it's happening in the next week.
I started out with Straight spotters but the last year have switched to Angled for much of the reason listed above. As long as they have a rotating collar on them they are much easier to use when...
Born and Raised Outdoors are great guys and are setting the bar for filming hunts. I just watched their latest DVD "30 days" and was extremely impressed. We are all doing the Full Draw Film tour...
Robinhood,
Sorry man I was at the ATA show all this past week helping out in the Eberlestock booth, I just got back late last night. I'll give you a call here right now.
Steve
Yeah we got it on video. Pure Elevation had a great start to our season. In the first four days we had two high country Muleys and one elk killed on video between three of us.
Good luck!
I Just came across this thread, thanks guys! It's great to have so many happy customers out there. Hope everyone's season has started off well.
I got lucky and put a tag on a bull last week on...
Headed down tomorrow!
Thanks for the great review, glad you guys are liking the DVD!
The new Jetboil stoves have a regulator this year so they should do much better in extreme cold.
You're more than welcome to place a pre-order and I'll just ship out as soon as they are in stock.
The pants will be available here in early July.
I used the hennessy explorer for a few years a while back. They are awesome early in the year but when it gets cold they aren't as much fun. You can still get by but you need some sort of...
Another vote for the Jetboil. I just got some of the SOL's in stock and grabbed one for myself. Tested it out on a backpacking bear hunt and loved it. The jetboils are tough to beat for their...
Yeah 3d shoots are a great way to get practice on judging yardage and just looking at an animal instead of an orange dot through your pins. I always highly recommend them to any beginning bowhunter...
Sorry about that guys. I just tell people I got really lucky and it was the only elk I saw and not to bother hunting Idaho. In reality we have good elk hunting for numbers but in 10 years of...
Yeah the broadhead design is great but the blades are thin and brittle. I did a lot of testing last year and the blades either broke off or snapped in half on almost every durability test.
If...
Thanks! Sounds great on the pack, just let me know when you're ready.
I've been meaning to sit down and write a in depth article on this subject for a long time. I am going to get that done today and I'll post up a link.
Just saw this guys. Thanks! It has been a great honor to be on the cover.
Yeah I would say a good majority of people don't understand what third axis really is. Graylight is correct in that under 40 yards in most hunting situations it probably isn't needed as your...
I really like the twist lock over lever. I think it depends though, on a cheaper tripod the lever is probably more reliable. On the Slik's the twist lock is really smooth and it makes adjusting the...
