Do you have a backup bow?
Last year I got a bull and my friend did not, we decided that whoever didn't get a elk would get a front shoulder, and hind quarter. I got the other quarters and the extras.
Just got back yesterday. I'll post pics and story later. It was definitely a tough hunt with weather and low numbers. I was able to harvest 2 bulls. Our camp went 11 for 12. Some good bulls, some...
Leaving DC, going to Montreal for the night.
Ungava Adventures. Just landed in Denver, next stop Washington DC.
Area 50 only has a few public pieces accessible and an HMA. Most is private.
I have done both, the best part of having an RV is my morning visit to the mens room. I also enjoy not waking up every 2-3 hours to stoke the fire in the stove.
Just checked in for my flight, I'll be in Montreal tonight and be out looking for Caribou tomorrow afternoon.
That's awesome right there.
I'm flying out a week from tomorrow. From what I've researched and what my outfitter sent. The ammo has to be in your other bag. You should put a good lock for the gun case, they can only look thru...

It's east of Rock Springs just past Point of Rocks. I grew up in Rock Springs and went out there on a few field trips in grade school.
Welcome, a lot of good people here.
That's the drag line at the Black Butte coal mine. Every time we drive by it my son still calls it a drag lion.
What's with all the hitchhikers using packs without functional load lifters?
According to the regulations the biologist is wrong. When you have a LE tag even in archery you have to hunt for the sex that is on the tag, in a general area you are allowed any deer. Here is a link...
Enjoy yourself! Don't get worked up if things are not working. Your going to mess things up, learn from your mistakes. Oh and did I say "enjoy yourself"
Yah, if we know the breed. We could definitely help with names. If you think you will have to yell at it a lot, name it Obama.
Elk hunting can be good, the deer hunting is poor. They are having meetings right now on what to do in the future. I am a resident so don't have to worry about points, 76 is a general license for...
