I hunted unit 23 a couple years ago and would stay away unless you can spend a couple weeks out there waiting for a bull. The elk know exaclty where the private land is and will hover back on forth...

One of the most overhunted units in the state. If you like hunting with/calling in other hunters you can't beat it! There are good elk numbers, but way too many people for me and not many mature...

I would't waste max points on 23. You can do much better with those points. With max you could draw 24 which would be MUCH better.
