Nothing to my hunting. After over 60 years of hunting the same way. It's pretty hard to change. I have enjoyed watching their shows though. Seeing hunts for animals i'll never get to hunt is very...
We never mention the chimney. That's just for the experts.
What was your load?
Don't get me wrong. My Jeep can't get me to my hunting areas. It may get me up in altitude, but I still have quite a hike left. I'm much more of a solo elk hunter than deer. Getting the meat out...
Depends on where the hunt is. I have one unit I hunt, and the Jeep gets me above timberline.
I also have good boots. ;)
Oh hell! Now you told them about the side door.
That won't help. I know the code.
That's when I first built the Jeep. It's been through hell since then, and I wouldn't call it clean anymore, but it still gets the job done.
I sure didn't get any rain like that in my unit. I do have some spots I can go to that rain wouldn't be an issue, but my Jeep wouldn't require me to go there much. It takes a bunch of bad weather to...
It only rained one day last year for me. Why, do you shrink in the rain? :D
My point was, the weather won't affect where the bucks are. They'll be up high that time of year.
Yeah, you thanked him for his nonsense. It gave me a good chuckle.
Mature bucks will be high. They don't hide in the timber like elk do. They'll bed down in the open where they can see everything.
I only hunt the ML season, and weather is a non issue, except it...
Yeah, it was fun. Umpqua even got a couple of Thanks. Not sure why, but that's how it goes.
It's funny. When game meat hasn't been taken care of it taste like liver to me. Maybe it's been taken care of, but is just gamey.
When I see some guys say they've never had bad tasting meat. I ask...
Yes, i'll use the same bullet for mule deer and elk. I can still get an OTC elk tag. I'll decide that at the last day before the hunt. I have to make sure I can get over Cottonwood Pass to unit 55. A...
Yeah, we all have different tastes. Some people love liver. It gags me. So, saying a certain meat taste good or bad is meaningless. You need to try it yourself.
There's some states that don't require you to take the meat. I guess they realize how bad it is. I'd rather eat an old boot.
Plus, all the edible meat. You're pretty much bringing out the whole bear. That's why I don't hunt for bear. Too much work.
Not exactly. The code ending in app is of course the application. The next code they post will show you got the tag, or failed according to the code.
That was the sneaky part.
There is no confusion. I've never heard anyone say they found the back door on their own. They usually ask...where's the back door? Who would apply for a tag when their trying to find the results of...
I drove line for only one year. I hated it. I drove locally, and had a small company myself. Home every night, and all the time off for hunting that I wanted.
Well, you're talking about a locked back door. The back door i'm talking about is open to anyone if you know where to look. The sneaky part is finding the door, and then being able to read the code. ...
Truck drivers are a proud group, and we didn't have to look at 4 walls all day. :D
You could be right. I just realized muzzleloader brushes are different. They use a 10/32 thread, and are probably made for just one bore size.
What you guys are calling the back door to the back door. Is the back door. The other one that easily seen by anybody is not the back door.
Back door describes coming in a sneaky way. There's...
