I have read that too where it was the first long range cartridge. I have a older gun in 300 H&H but was looking to get a single shot in the 300 H&H. Have you taken any game with it.

Does your 460 also shoot the 454 and 45. The 500s are allot. I know some guys who carry the 475 on the rugar conversion and they say they have allot of stopping power not as fast as 460.

I do like the idea of shooting the 45 colt out of it. I read where you can shoot a 45 and 454 out of a SW 460. I dont like the the looks of the SW revolvers as much as Freedom Arms
